New toll plaza to be built in Seremban

A toll plaza will be built about 4.5km north of the Seremban toll plaza to help reduce congestion at the existing exit here, Works Minister Datuk Seri Shaziman Abu Mansor said. The present plaza was the first to be built some three decades ago when the North-South Expressway (NSE) was first opened.

Projek Lebuhraya Utara Selatan (PLUS) had been told to proceed with widening works on four stretches of the NSE from three to four lanes.

They are the Shah Alam-Bukit Lanjan route (17km); Bukit Lanjan-Jln Duta (8km); Bukit Lanjan-Rawang (16km) and Nilai Utara-Seremban (23km).

This a long due issue for Seremban folks, who face daily congestion on the exit. The project came after 3 years later.

But a matter of question, are they going to retain the current Seremban toll and build a new as to channel the traffic?
