Singapore Airlines launches Los Angeles with A350-900 ULR
Singapore Airlines launch customer for A350-900 ULRSingapore Airlines, the recent winner of World’s Best Airline is the launch customer for Airbus flagship A350-900 ULR variant.
The seat configuration that Singapore Airlines selected is a low density 161 seats, comprises of 67-seats Business Class and 94-seats Premium Economy. It’s first for airline to select a two-class layout without Economy Class.
Singapore-Los Angeles, the newest route for SIA will be launched in November 2018, using the new ULR variant.

Interesting stats
The region which operates highest number of A350 is Southeast Asia (Thai Airways, Singapore Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Philippines Airlines and Vietnam Air).
This is followed by Northeast Asia, Middle East and Europe. The route from Southeast Asia to US and Europe are best to use the current A350 with significant range and excellent cabin to complement with.
Malaysia Airlines is using the A350 for its sole Europe route to London-Heathrow and selective North Asia destinations such as Tokyo-Narita and Seoul-Incheon.
